    From the information I received, starting February 16th, schools will notify whether or not they will sponsor you as a GEM Fellow and on the website portal it will begin to change to "Accepted" but my guess is if they already offered you funding then they should have no problem with you being a GEM Fellow or Associate Fellow considering GEM only contributes 16K for the first year for PhD and 16K for the entirety of a masters degree.

    Just received an unofficial acceptance to Georgia Tech from a PI ! That was my top choice, just waiting to see what type of funding they offer.

    I just accepted an offer with an employer, the turn around time was very quick, I interviewed on Thursday, best of luck everyone!

    My interview email mentioned GEM, but when I was interviewed that person interviewing me was not actually that familiar with the fellowship, I was contacted by a middle man university recruit that set up the interview, so that may be why.

    Me neither! I know it's a great school but never particularly heard of it being big with engineering. Did you get any additional information about details regarding the open house?

    That's awesome! What other schools did you apply to? I applied to UF, Georgia Tech, Vandy, and Northwestern, I'm really considering Northwestern, it seems great so far.

    Would you mind posting your stats? From the GEM fellowship, I'm going to the CEE Open House at Northwestern next week, but I haven't gotten an acceptance, did they reach out to you about that too, or just accepted you?

    Kind of unrelated but I see you got accepted to Northwestern for Environmental Engineering, I haven't gotten accepted yet, but they are flying me out, I didn't have to pay for anything, to meet faculty for the CEE Open House, should I be concerned?

    For those who were contacted by employers, would you mind sharing your credentials, GPA's, GRE, research experiences, etc. ?

    How do we go about contacting companies and laboratories, I have a point of contact but he doesn't know what he has to do?

    Same :/ On the call they said to actively reach out to companies, and since I interned at NREL I'm going to reach out to them.
