Rejected from Tulane yesterday. lol almost out of the running! I have only Georgia State to hear from and hope that I am accepted in from the waitlist lol! Wish me luck

I asked at my interview and they said that if you don't hear anything back right away, it's a good thing. They notify rejected and waitlisted students first.

I honestly had an amazing interview (though short) they didn’t ask too much and I just felt great talking about my work. I also feel like I would really fit into the program I loved the atmosphere, and the laid back aspect really relaxed me during open studios .. I was kinda freaking out before hand!!! Idk about funding.. I just found out I got free tuition and a 30,000/year stipend award for university of Delaware it’s insane.....  too many options now.. though hunter seems to be n 1... I was told that half or a quarter of interviewers get in so that’s a little scary 
 
at at the same time I’m very self driven, the studio space at hunter is beautiful! And working with such great faculty who are actually working artists is great.  We are artist,  most of the teaching we do it ourselves you know?  
 
I did smell weed in some studios and vomit in the girls bathroom open studio night but it’s kinda hilarious ? definitely my fit .. it’s important to have fun 

got a call from Yale earlier today, was accepted to their MFA for painting

For those of you who are worried about Hunter interviews, I just had mine through Skype. The faculties are super nice and patient. They are very willing to answer any quesitons you have. I was asked few questions during the interview:
talk about your works in general, and then talk about two specific works
the book you are reading
artists you like
why Hunter
How do you want your work to develop
exhibitions you like recently
Lastly, Q&A
I feel like just be youself, and be confident. It will be fine. Good luck to everyone!

Got an acceptance call from Rutgers this morning!! And emails should be coming soon.

The rejection letter was in my spam folder  ! It's okay. I got into VSC but had to turn it down because I was flying to interviews. I'm going to London in the fall for Slade so I doubt I'd have the time or money to do Skowheagan. Guess I'll reapply after school ?

Yup looks like Tyler decisions are up on the portal. Did indeed end up only getting into Yale. ?

TO HUNTER APPLICANTS>>> I have received an email back from Sarah, she said to bring the ten images submitted, plus up to ten images of new work.  So like 20 images maximum... It's a pretty cool thing!  Good luck to everyone and see you in open studio! Can other painting interviewers give me your instagram or website? I would love to check out your works! 
 
 

I like to congratulate all of you who have gotten acceptance notices, how wonderful. I wish you much success. 
To those who are still waiting, hang in there. Read up on the Universities you are waiting for to be ready for the interview. Waiting is not easy and you are not alone. 

Due to the anxieties caused by the whole graduate application process, I've been checking this forum out everyday for the past month, but have not posted anything until now. I'd like to thank everyone on here for making me feel like I'm not alone with going mad waiting to here back from MFA programs. With all this said I just wanted to give the ones on here whom are waiting for a response from UCLA's sculpture department that I received an offer to UCLA yesterday afternoon. 

ALSO I emailed them back asking for clarification on their request .... 

Accepted into university of Delaware too! Free tuition!
