  1. I also have not heard anything from them since that email...
  2. Another FAFSA question...I filled out the whole thing, and it says my estimate is 20,500/year...but obviously will need to take out a larger loan that that per year. Anyone experience this?
  3. So after an interview I sent out thank you e-mails to the program director and the three people who actually interviewed me. I got a reply from the director but not from the interviewers...typical?
  4. Don't know if this has been discussed before, but does anyone know when FAFSA forms have to be done by? Does it depend on the program? Is it confusing to fill out? Any advice? Thanks!
  5. Booked my interview at Sarah Lawrence for March 6th (afternoon time) Let me know if you are planning on doing the same day!
  6. Got my official interview date for Brandeis--Tuesday, March 27th! If anyone else has that day, let's be in touch!
  7. Hey! I haven't had an interview there before, but I also got an invitation and am currently a student at Brandeis, so if you want to talk more about the program, environment, people, etc let me know!!
  8. I just received an interview invitation an hour ago!
  9. Hi all! Just discovered this feed today, which is pretty frustrating considering it would have been really helpful along the way. Better late than never Just thought I'd introduce myself...I am currently a senior with a 3.74 GPA (GRE: 76th for verbal, 66th for quant, 93rd for writing). I am a double major in Biology and Health Policy, and have been looking forward to applying for about 2.5 years now. Along my journey I have worked in a research lab (only lasted an academic year), became a teaching assistant for a couple of different courses (evolution and general biology lab), tutored first generation college students, became a peer counselor at my university as well as an active listener on the website 7Cups of Tea. I have shadowed prenatal, cancer, and pediatric genetic counselors for 50+ hours between two different hospitals, but not to the point where I became extremely close with any of the counselors. I also spent a summer interning at a local organization that helps parents with children with various disabilities navigate the process they must go through to acquire state services for their children. Overall I feel well qualified and I have learned so much over the past couple of years, but I still struggle with my confidence knowing how many amazing applicants are out there. I ended up applying to Brandeis, Mount Sinai, Sarah Lawrence, and Arcadia. I intended to apply to a couple more, but just could not see myself going anywhere else really. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and good luck to everyone!
