    When did the acceptance go up? It looks like in past years they've notified over a few rounds and I imagine we should see a fair amount more acceptances before we enter the spiral!

    Hey @LexHex, What UC's are you applying to? I'm doing UCLA, Irvine, and Berkeley.

    I don't remember about a transcript upload. UCLA was the only school that I applied to that made a fuss over official transcripts. They opened my document this round, around Dec. 20ish. Ideal scenario is they're deciding soon (given that they normally tell this week) and are re-checking to make sure everything is order, but that's a lot of optimistic speculation based on a doc tracker! Yes, they were. You are the pragmatist but I will stay hopeful that they are at the end of the process rather than the beginning!

    UCLA News: Both my friend and I received document-tracker notifications that UCLA opened our official transcripts. The last time that happened was a few days after the Dec. deadline. Any one else get this? Thoughts on what it might mean?Maybe @Warelin or @la_mod?

    What's giving you the sense about UCLA? I think Berkeley notifies this week normally so maybe we'll get a few UC's.

    Congrats again @Crow T. Robot! I'll let you know any rumors when my friend attends the weekend (number of attendees, number of accepts, etc.)

    @Crow T. Robot Yes!! Based on past forums, it seems like there's a real chance to get accepted off the waitlist. Duke Lit is such a particular program that I'm sure not everyone accepted ends up going. Congrats!!

    The email is directed individually, only first name in the salutation, so it doesn't seem like a mass one.

    @Crow T. Robot My friend just got that 2nd round interview! It seems you're right and they're having applicants fly to Durham for a weekend to do in-person interviews.
