School A I got into a new program at a highly reputed school. I'm however facing two dilemmas as of now: -The course is offered by the Earth Science department. From the coursework, it looks like it is all based on the applications of computation in the field of Earth Science. When I was interviewed, I was told that there would be a lot of computation and little of the physical science.The Computational Science, Mathematical Modelling and Machine Learning combined together appeal a lot to me, though. -This is a new course that is being offered. This school is top notch, and very well-known, so I'm assuming the program must be really good. But since I will be the first batch to pass out, I'm skeptical of where I would fare. I want to work in the industry after this, but I'm not to sure of job aspects in this field. School B -The program is an established and well-reputed program. However, this is a computer Science Program and not a Computational Science Program. Their Machine Learning Program is one of the best in the business, though. -It however, ranks lower than school A, but I know that taking this program, will give me an opening into a steady career. Can anybody lay out some points, and help me choose which program to accept?

I got a rejection yesterday. But at least I'm one down. 3 more to go.

Has anybody heard back anything? I'm think I have aged exponentially these last four months

The same thing happened with me too. I wonder if it means that they are done reviewing our applications. I am just hoping for the best. Good luck

@jigglypuff I know exactly how you feel. I can take a rejection at this point with a pinch of salt, but the wait is killing me. The Hebrew script looks daunting, to be honest. Kudos to you! How many colleges are to waiting to hear back from now? I have around 4 left

I am waiting to hear back from Toronto for MsAc. I applied really close to the deadline. When did you apply?

@JetPlane_the Thankyou so much! Really appreciate it I haven't gotten anything yet, so I guess I am rejected. But I did an acceptance from one of my top choice, so I am relativeley calmer now.

@PeepSqueak I know, right. Even if I am rejected, I want to know. And I'm busy with uni. Projects and assignments, so that does help. And in my free time, I binge watch on tv shows @jigglypuff Wow. I'm so impressed. Such productive use of your time. And how tough is Hebrew? I love learning languages, and Hebrew is high on my list @abnormalcluster I have actively been making it a point to check the application portals and the result page not so often

I know most of us have been waiting for what feels to be like eternity. I want to know what you do to divert your mind from thinking about this whole process? How do you keep yourself from refreshing your email for the hundredth time in over five minutes? Hopefully discussing about it might induce some calm.

You haven't gotten the email? As the people above have said, it hardly means anything. If in any case you do contact the department and if possible, could be please inform me of their response? I'm an international applicant, and roaming charges LOL. It would be a great help.
