Program: Clinical mental health counseling Schools: Lock Haven University Status: Interviewed now waiting and praying I’m applying to an online program but my GPA is not great at 3.2 out of 4, never considered graduate school so I never focused on grades. I did get solid letters of recommendation but I felt the interview could have gone better. I am not sure what my chances are overall so I don’t want get to much hope.

OK maybe I am just being overly reactive but i’m starting to wonder if not having hope is the best way to get through this time period. I must check my email at least 50 times today in hopes of hearing something early ( The program for which I’m applying said I’d get an answer by the first week of March). I did get an interview but I don’t know how competitive Lock Haven University or clinical mental health counseling program is compared to comparable programs and schools. Main thing is I’m worried about my GPA which a 3.2, I could not find any information on admissions stats for graduate students. Would be grateful for any information or thoughts anyone could share.

I am applying for entrance into Lock haven university’s clinical mental health counseling program (Masters of Science) for fall 2018. Applied with a 3.2 GPA and solid letters of recommendation but I just don’t have high hopes. I am praying I get in because it’s one of the only programs in PA that’s online and certified for mental health counseling. Looked for entrance statistics but no luck, this waiting game is killing me. I did have an interview early this February (cannot say how it went) and was told I would hear back by early March. All I know for sure is that I am a nervous wreck!
