  1. Thank you so much for all this information! Definitely puts my mind at ease knowing a bit more about the program.
  2. Well the acceptance letter really just mentioned a bit of the program and the clinical process. The financial aid information becomes available to you after your acceptance. You could prob speak to your admissions counselor about it now though. My admissions counselor has been very helpful and supportive during this entire process. As per applying to the fall 2018 cohort was very smart of you. I applied to a total of 11 schools and still have 9 schools to hear back from. I basically start in NYU in two months and it’s a bit nerve recking but I’m very excited. Best of luck to you.
  3. I have actually already attended the online information webinar a couple days ago, which also hosted two current grad students. I just feel like I still have many unanswered questions. I am also hopeful a current grad student sees this! Thank you for all your information!
  4. Hello everyone! I am from the NYC area and I actually applied to 11 schools! I took a gap year so I wanted to make sure I got accepted somewhere. It’s very nerve wrecking watching all your fellow classmates from undergrad her denied from all the two or three schools they applied to. My one advice would be to apply to as many as you can! Although it is very stressful and expensive, I believe it was definitely worth it I applied to: Mercy, New York Medical college, Adelphi, Hofstra, NYU online , LIU Brooklyn, Queens college, St. John’s university, Brooklyn college, touro and Yeshiva I applied to start for Fall 2018, and all my applications were submitted by either 1/15/18 or 02/01/18. I have since been denied from Mercy and accepted into NYU and I still have 9 schools to hear back from. I have accepted NYU and paid their $500 deposit just because it is a very good school and I had a deadline to accept their school. I am glad with my choice and I would only lose my deposit and attend a different school IF I get accepted into Queens or Brooklyn college because they are CUNYs and the tuition is remarkably less expensive (80k+ vs 30k+) I hope all this information helps someone.
  5. Hello everyone! I have just been admitted into the NYU online speech masters program (cohort May 2018) and I would like to know if there are any students currently in the program who can give me some insight on the structure of the curriculum. I am a bit nervous about pursuing my MS online, and I am scared it will not be for me. I would like to know if how the classes are like, how many times a week are the virtual classes held, and how is the test taking process like? Thank you
