Hi Everyone, I am so excited to announce that after 3 years of going through this application process, I have been admitted and will be attending Hunter this fall for painting (received an email to check my online application)!!! Nothing at all... Im developing an ulcer over here! Someone in this forum heard back a few days ago, but they had applied for drawing...havnt heard anyone from painting....

I'm also interviewing at hunter, I got an email about it last week. I'm quite nervous about it, this is my third time applying to schools and hunter is at the top of my list. Thank goodness for this forum...such a relief to see the amount of support being offered. @kazoo although I don't write much on here I really appreciate reading your posts, i find them very uplifting

I don't, but if you were accepted or if you are on a waiting list you should definitely hear from them no later than mid-April. Good luck!

I am so glad I found this forum! It has been very encouraging to have such a great support group Congratulations to all that have been accepted to the programs. This was my first year applying, applied to 4 pretty competitive programs, got rejected from 3 and still waiting to hear back from Columbia which by the sound of it, does not look too promising. I called them today and they said that visual arts candidates should expect a letter/ packet by mid April the latest. Good luck to all those still waiting and for us who didn't get in, everything happens for a reason, lets not get discouraged and try again next year!
