I am an International applicant from Nigeria. I think you should have a mix here - a mix of those schools and safe schools so that you can apply for your top 20 programs and still apply to "safe schools." It is going to be you trying to be careful.

Hi, thank you so much. I'll be asking them to include this intro while starting the recommendation. I just asked one of them now if he included the fact that he was a doctorate, and he said that he didn't. Sigh!

Hi, I am currently on my applications. Seeming arduous and I cannot wait to be done with them all. My first application is due for January 15th. I have a question anyway. I have noticed that some of these schools do not show any space to insert the title of my recommenders. For instance, the boxes just say "First name", "Last name." How do I insert "Professor" or "Dr." to any of these? Happy Holidays guys.

This is me now. I don't do well with standardized tests. I am writing mine next week and everything is so awful, and I haven't even practiced the AWA. I am thinking I need to reschedule but I am not sure there would be much difference from what i have now.

Hi May, What scores does your program require? That is one information missing in your post. Another missing information is what schools you are applying to? I can Imagine you are applying to highly ranked schools hence your taking the test twice. To say the truth, your first score was pretty good especially that of your quant. Your AWA isn't the best score but I like to believe that your quant is more important considering you are applying for a statistics program. More focus would be on your quant than the other parts of the test. I'd rather you focus on other aspects of your application as the GRE is only one part of it. Preparing to write the test again is almost a herculean task seeing that you agree overwhelmed with life generally plus from what I have seen and heard, you don't get to improve by so much after the first time. I don't know but the paragraphs were not connected, and the reason for wanting to further your education was generic to an extent. I'll point out some of these to you when I get my free time.

Hello, I am also applying for Fall 2019. My undergraduate studies was in Mass Communication but now I want to study Advertising. I am considering UT Austin, Boston University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and University of Alabama. If there are other schools I can apply to, please tell me. I am yet to start any application. I am still preparing to write the GRE in October. UT Austin's application deadline is December 1, and I am all shades of worried.

Please, who else here is applying to UT Austin to be in the advertising program come Fall 2019? I really to feel like there are people who can relate with this. I haven't written the GRE yet, so I am somewhat glad the application was rescheduled to start September. The deadline isn't changing anyway. ?
