  1. Lehman College has extended its spring application deadline to October 15th. If you are passionate about becoming a speech-language pathologist and want to study in a warm, collegial, and diverse community consider applying to our program. Our five semester program offers specialty tracks in Early Intervention and Bilingual SLP as well as elective offerings in Medical SLP, autism, AAC, and counseling. You'll complete four clinic/diagnostic rounds in the Lehman College Speech and Hearing Center, our state-of-the-art graduate teaching clinic, which provides services to individuals with a wide variety of clinical disorders including Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury, aphasia, early childhood speech and language, fluency, school-age language-based literacy and learning disabilities, in specialty clinics as well as in across-the-lifespan offerings. You'll then continue your training in two of our 80+ externship sites in the greater New York City area. Come join the program that has received NSSLHA Gold Chapter Honors four years in a row. We interview the prospective students who pass the initial review process. Interviews are held November 9th and 16th. Notifications of admission will be sent prior to Thanksgiving. If you are not living in the greater New York City area we can conduct the interview remotely.   4. I am the Graduate Program Director for the Master of Arts program in Speech-Language Pathology at Lehman College, Bronx, NY. We are accepting applications through October 1 for spring admission and encourage anyone who is interested in applying. We accept approximately 25 students in the spring and fall semesters, which is the average class size in each of the course offerings. Our in-house clinic services over 200 clients with a 1 to 3 supervisor to student ratio. Students complete two rotations of clinic, two of diagnostics, and two externships in the five NYC boroughs, Westchester, Long Island, and New Jersey. We offer a bilingual extension program (in any language you are proficient in), an early intervention specialty track, and have multiple elective offerings including AAC, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Medical SLP.
