  1. No problem. I was accepted to International Economic Policy. How about you?
  2. Thanks a lot! That is what I was wondering. I have to complete prereq Econ courses too. And long distance from a different country is already draining my pockets lol. Have you accepted the offer?
  3. Do they give TAships once you start courses in the University? My funding is kind of underwhelming. I haven't received any TA or RA, considering I have no background can't complain. But all scholarships combined, I have 14k (available only for the first year, nothing on second year was included). So I was wondering if you can personally go and apply for a TA or RA once you finish a semester or two.
  4. Yes, it changed from "recommended for assessment" to "being reviewed by the graduate dept" or something along those lines. I haven't yet received any funding information.
  5. Oh! Thank you so much! I would love to meet you on campus. I will be moving to Ottawa around July or August after wrapping up my life in US.
  6. I agree. Tabbatha mentioned in the email that status update might take 2-3 weeks. Mine says "Recommended for Assessment" as well.
  7. @GradSchoolWot Sure! I am kind of a complicated case. I have a bachelors in Computer Engg from India. Masters in Comp Sci from USA. Currently, working in USA and have work exp for two years. My undergrad GPA by Canadian standards was bad. 2.95/4. My masters was a little above average with 3.5/4. My recommendations were from my boss and my master's thesis adviser. I volunteer at the Smithsonian on weekends. I don't know how much that helped. Overall, I literally had no background in International Affairs whatsoever. All I had was experience of living in two countries. I recently got my Canadian Permanent Residency so that might have helped because I was considered as a domestic student. I submitted my application on 18th January 2019. So I think the order of submission doesn't matter that much
