  1. Anxiously awaiting their decision as well. My status says "decision mailed" on 3/12 but still nothing! I live about half an hour away from Chapman so I thought it would be here by today... Hoping it'll come tomorrow. On another note, wasn't Teachers College supposed to have their decisions by today? Dahhh
  2. As Fullerton extended their deadline to March 1st, I doubt we'd be hearing back from them until mid-April. LA said they'd start mailing out their decisions around mid-April as well. I didn't apply to SJSU and and East Bay so I'm not sure about those... Good luck to you!
  3. Decided not to apply for George Washington last minute and they just emailed me sayin I could still apply by April 15th if I wanted to.... Find that kinda odd since there's so many people waitlisted and since most decision deadlines are April 15th
  4. Chapman changed my status to "decision mailed," eeek!
  5. Thanks guys! Helps a lot. I was thinking about sticking it out the first year and bringing it for when I have off-site placements as well. For those who heard back from Teachers College, did you get an email or was it just on your NextStep?
  6. Thanks!! Sure hope we hear from them this week.
  7. Would you recommend bringing a car? Or can you survive on public transportation alone?
  8. San Diego State University is part of the CSU system.
  9. No worries, I'm sure good news will come your way soon! I'm not really sure what my top choice is, my thoughts while applying was that I'd be happy if I got into any school at all! I'm ecstatic about U of W, but like everyone else, I'm caught whether I should spend the extra tens of thousands versus a cheaper in-state school. How about you?
  10. I think they're sending it through email. I've heard back and my online status says the same as yours.
  11. Waitlisted at SDSU.... Better than a rejection I guess :/
  12. Nope, it's just a very general acceptance email. Based on what people have said, I'm really not expecting anything
  13. I just got the email a couple minutes ago with the decision and further instructions on how to respond. Deadline to respond is April 15th... CSULA's definitely going to complicate things with them sending out their decisions mid-April :\
  14. DAHHHH!! My first acceptance! MedSLP at UW I am so shocked and happy, I really applied "just cuz..." Congrats to everyone else who got in!! Now hopefully they'll give me some funding as well, hehe.
  15. Same here, and I'm also interested in working with cleft lip/palate... Of course, this might change while I'm in grad school.
  16. Letter from Chapman reminding me to do my FAFSA. Bleh.
  17. I called SFSU earlier today, they said the results would come out "in a couple of weeks." How vague can they be? I definitely feel ya.
  18. I am And I know there's a couple more out there in the big SLP freakout thread as well.
  19. I know, right? But the lady I talked to on the phone was super sweet... and their deadline WAS one of the later ones (2/15). I guess they need two months to make their decision. Thanks! And for those applying to CSU Fullerton... did you know about the application status document on the website?? Kitselman updates it every day so you can check what materials they've received. Not much information I know, but you can see there's 430 applicants.
  20. Couldn't stand it, called a couple of those oh-so-elusive CSUs today. SFSU: "within a couple of weeks" CSUN: "end of March, early April" CSULA: will go out by mail starting mid-April SDSU: "within a week," bless your soul!! Couldn't reach CSUF, I'll try again later.
  21. flash mob
  22. what gives
  23. Haha I like this thread. I WILL get accepted! Good vibes all around
