Still waiting, submitted my app on 12/17. It's killing me. I've been working at a domestic violence shelter and child advocacy center for about a year. Taught English in France for a year and hence have a high proficiency in French.. Hoping to work with refugees and study Polyvagal theory. I've got a 3.74 GPA from UF in Linguistics. Really hodge-podge background but hopefully its meaningful to them. Agh!
I sent in my application on Dec 17th, final LOR sent in on dec 19th. I applied regular standing and have not heard back yet. I emailed admissions last week and they said regular standing should start finding out mid Feb through mid March.
No, but I did email admissions the other day and they said that advanced standing decisions will start being sent out this week. Regular Full-time Applicants will start hearing decisions in between mid Feb to mid March.
Hey Everyone,
I applied to UNC Chapel Hill and am still waiting to hear back a decision as well.
I got a B.A in Linguistics at UF, taught English in France for a year, and have been volunteering in social work for the past year at a DV shelter and a Child Advocacy Center.
GPA 3.74, No GRE.
Would love to know when people start getting their decisions!
