and not give those schools you definitly wont go false hope.
-
it's poi not dgs, and no reach out, but interviewed.
-
Thanks and i think i may enter an awkward situation. higher ranks may think i am less qualified and lower ones think i am over-qualified. plus, i am not hearing anything from duke, rochester, ucla, nyu, which i think are all waitlists, just they dont notify
-
thanks for clarification, I really hope those princeton admits etc decline or withdraw other schools they will never ever go asap, because some programs may not set an explicit waitlist machinsm, and an early decline from applicant may indeed give others oppotinuties.
-
Thanks buddy, hope you will hear good news soon! Why it has a chance of going into waitlist b/c its not top 10?
-
Sigh, I also got offcial waitlist email from gu. getting nuts..... ? hopefully people soon decline those they wont go.
-
Another boring day with no news. sigh
-
seems a boring week. What schools do we expect to release next week?
-
yes. hopefully one of my waitlists pick me up
-
Yeah my poi told me on monday
-
Yeah, we just need one admit sigh.
-
seems like a boring day again.
-
Congrats! sounds tough choice, but sweet! looks like you can start to decline or withdraw some schoools now.
-
Congrats!! What does your background look like? you are the contrast of me...
-
Awesome, congrats! what are your other results? maybe consider add your signiture
-
Yes it's called overqualified. But oftentimes it's hard to tell for both schools and applicants. I saw several were wavering between say GWU and Michigan. depends on fit, supervisors, location, etc.
-
Anyone can clarify what no response means if the school has already sent out several admits and rejects in various sub-fields?
-
Awesome! and to all of us: plz decline offers you unlikely go asap so more and more of us may benefit!
-
This is really great news to close friday! congrats to you three! @zoooxu @LatinAmericanFootball now that both of got into UCB, would you guys consider declining UCSD?
-
yeah everything remains the same as 30 days ago
-
agree, thats probably how it is working. ucsd didnt seem to use waitlist in last few years, but at least from my case, they are using it this year. probably learnt from other schools last year waitlist is a great way to control cohort size.
-
ah i mean wouldnt they send out admissions first since they must be first produced?
