Hey guys! Quick update: I was accepted to N.C. STATE tonight, do not give up. Keep your head up even if you do not receive the decision that you wanted.

My uncle and I found out that we both had a tumor in January 2017, unfortunately my uncles tumor was malignant and mine was not. My uncle passed away from Sarcoma in 2017. He was only 27, so more like a brother than uncle. And the suffering and resource barriers he went through peaked my interest in working with oncology patients. Now I would like to be a Pediatric Oncology Social Worker. It’s unfortunate what they have to go through.

Another student received her acceptance yesterday ?

She tweeted this at 4:35pm yesterday... so I asked her if she received her acceptance yesterday.. waiting for a response

This wait is Agonizing

I think we’ll either hear back around 5 or we won’t hear anything at all today ? and at 5 we can’t even call them because they’ll be gone
