  1. And now the portal has returned to just "submitted," so that's lovely hahaha
  2. So, my portal now says I've received a decision. When I click "see decision" it says an email has been sent to me. There's no email. Anyone else?!
  3. Maybe that's the reason, but it does say it was received via email today. (Search "Georgetown" in results, and it pops up.) But I'm glad I am not alone in still waiting, at least!
  4. Speaking of McCourt, looks like someone posted an admissions result for the MPP that they say they received today. I haven't heard a thing -- do we have a sense that they trickle in? I didn't think it was a rolling decision situation with them. Obviously, I am with those of you who are going a little batty ha
  5. Yes! Strange, right? I was wondering if maybe it was because I hadn't had any formal interaction with the school previously (I haven't visited or attended any online admissions events, etc), and they are trying to gauge if I am truly interested or just applying. But, they also waived my application fee -- perhaps that's normal for everyone, as I know other schools have done this for all applications this year given the realities of COVID. I wasn't notified that anyone looked at my LinkedIn, etc., so I don't want to read too much into it, but I was curious as to why this might be. Sorry to hear you felt thrown off! I had a feeling it was a bit of an interview situation; thank you for confirming. Had you submitted your application already? Had you ever visited the school or interacted with them at all? Are you an unusual candidate in some way? (I am probably several older than the average candidate, and was wondering if maybe that was it, too). Just trying to get a sense as to the motivation of this. Thank you!
  6. Hello all, Putting the finishing touches on my application prior to tomorrow's Round 2 due date. I received an email today from the Director of Enrollment asking to schedule a 20 minute coffee chat next month. Has anyone else had similar conversations with the school? Trying to get a sense of what this means, if anything, and how it may or may not play into the application process. Thanks!
  7. "Shortly before noon" Because I'm too distracted to get much work done in this early afternoon, I went pretty far back in the archives of the admissions blog. In 2012, the results were released during HKS spring break because, as Matt says, "staff do not have the luxury of a respite." In 2013, results were released March 18. I'm not convinced we're necessarily finding out tomorrow unless that name reading post goes up today! Boo to that. What are the odds that they're following our chatter here. I'd say fairly high, right?
  8. So, the written portion above the "Admissions" and "Financial Aid" buttons on the Admissions portal just disappeared...anyone else or just personal glitch?
  9. He writes about how they read every applicant's name out loud to ensure that the proper admissions decision is given: http://hksadmissionblog.tumblr.com/post/171862898088/2018-reading-and-decision-process-post-17
  10. Ah, looks like you're right. Page source says the name reading post was posted around 1pm last year: "2018-03-14T12:57:09" Should have checked before freaking out!
  11. Would he skip the name reading post? I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but doesn't it just seem more likely that they'll post results next week now?
