  1. I'm also unsure. One of my LOR writers told me that MIT might be behind on processing applications. I got an email way back from MIT Biology saying that they would give out invites by the end of the 2nd week of January (last Friday), but I also got an email from MIT CSB that decisions would come this Friday. My understanding is that everyone is having a busy app year since most programs are dropping the GRE so timelines will be more rolling/flexible as committee members make the final tough decisions. That being said, has anyone heard any word from MIT Biology or CSB?
  2. I thought it was ghosting but it looks like some schools are sending rejections this year.
  3. Has anyone received an outright rejection from UC Berkeley's Computational Biology program yet? I saw that some people have invites but I didn't see any rejections either. Also my responses so far for curious people: (approximate dates) JHU CMDB invited 12/16 UCSF BMI invited 12/22 Stanford Biosciences (umbrella) invited 12/21 UVa BIMS invited 12/21 Northwestern DGP invited 12/17 UW Genome Sciences Rejected (I hear it's been a rough year for plenty of people)
