  4. Sorry for all the messages, but can you message me your POI? I tried sending you a message as well
  5. I'm brining a carry-on suitcase! Not weird at all. I second this! I'm bringing a carry-on suitcase so I don't have to worry about checking a bag, but also have everything neatly packed. I'm making sure to book flights with airlines that allow carry ons. (i.e. American, Southwest, Delta)
  6. Sorry to add to this chain - could the VCU counseling psych poster also DM me their POI? Thank you and congrats!
  7. I second (third?) this. I would strongly suggest mentioning ESL somewhere in your application, as this will give the scores some context.
  8. Could the UMD counseling psych poster message me their POI? Thank you!
  9. I agree with this post. If you are pursuing a PhD, a low GPA can hurt your application largely because you'll be screened out and won't reach final stages of the review process. Clinical psychology programs have hundreds of applications, and use metrics like GPA, GRE, etc. to filter. A master's degree could help "override" your undergrad GPA, and help you bypass these filters. Some advice I received that has been helpful: look at your application like data. The more data you have that suggests you're a good candidate (e.g. high GRE, research experience), the higher your chances. Try to make your GPA the outlier, and the rest of your application data show your true potential.
  10. Thanks for the response! I have programs that're better fits for me, so keeping my fingers crossed. I applied to 16 programs, so 15 left to hear from ?
  11. Curious about UT Austin counseling psych invites as well!
  12. I should've specified - I'm referring to their counseling psychology program. Sorry for the miscommunication!
  13. Does anyone have information on University of Denver? It's my top pick and I'm worried all of the invites have already been sent out ?
