Has any written an exceptional consideration essay for their grad school application due to have a GPA below a 3.0? If so, what did you include in it? My GPA isn't low due to a significant event taking place. it had a a lot to do with procrastination so I am not sure what exactly to write about.

I have a liberal arts bachelors degree with a 2.4 cumulative GPA. I am looking to pursue an online MSW soon but have some questions. Should I take some pre-reqs before applying? Should I take the GRE even though it isn't required? Or should I just go for it and apply without spending additional money first. I'm a little lost here and advisors aren't really giving me a yes or no answer. i don't want to waste time.

I have a similar undergrad GPA and am also interested in applying to MSW programs for Fall 2020. I'd love to hear about your process with applications. Are you submitting GRE scores?

I have a liberal arts bachelors degree and my GPA isn’t the greatest due to some personal events that had taken place. I really want to get a MSW but I’m not sure who will accept me as well as the costs and such. I am considering going back to school for a second bachelors degree - in social work. Then applying to an accelerated MSW program and possibly get funding. Has anyone ever done this before? What are your thoughts?
