Any IR applicants hear back from American University?

My portal hasn't changed either. The waves of Columbia trolls this year has me really suspicious over anything that gets posted in the results section until there are at least a few submissions, though it is about time for the UChicago decisions.

I expected American University by the end of this week too, if anyone applied to their PhD in IR. Seems their MA decisions were released yesterday, no word on PhD.

The decisions are really streaming in now for Columbia. They're saying they got emails to check their portals, but my portal is unchanged so far. Waiting for someone to claim an admit in this thread.

I think Columbia usually releases mid to late February. A rejection just went up too though.

Anyone apply to UChicago? I think I opted in their application not to be considered for their MA programs if I'm denied PhD admission but I'm unsure whether or not I did now and I can't find an application proof on their portal. Wondering if I should contact them to request that I be considered, wait until after their decisions come out before reaching out, or just submit a new application since their MA priority deadlines were January 4th but their final deadlines are April 30th.

Anyone here apply to the Harvard or Georgetown PhD in Government programs?

My interests are similar in that they are two distinct research threads but I'm interested in their synthesis. I also applied to places that had at least 1 faculty member doing one, and at least 1 faculty member doing the other, and my statement of purpose tried to highlight how I would blend the two fields for my research. The best we can do is hope that they see the connection between the two and see how we fit with their program.

There's another rejection posted. I would take them with a grain of salt though, there were two rejections and one acceptance two days ago that were later removed. I'm just going to assume the BU submissions are spam until we see something more credible.

Anyone claiming any of the Boston University decisions? No update to my portal.

Anyone heard anything from GW? My portal still shows "under review" but someone posted a rejection.

Just cruel to send an email like this the week I'm expecting to receive their admissions decision... just cruel

I expect George Washington University will release by the end of the week and Boston University between the end of the month and early February. Not sure of other programs that release in January, just keeping track of the ones I applied to.

Still waiting on GW as well, I think they will come out at some point this week.

Columbia still seems about a month early compared to previous years. There were a number of trolls posting spam decisions from Columbia last week that were all removed, I assume this is more of the same.

Both the Yale and Columbia acceptance posts have been removed now. Some people just have nothing better to do with their lives ?

I think the Columbia posting has to be spam. They've never released this early.
