@Mom0Thanks for the words of encouragement! I've waited this long, so might as well hunker down for another month, right? Just another question (if you feel comfortable answering): do you know whether your offer was dependent on someone else declining or your advisor getting funding? Basically trying to figure out how the waitlist works here.
Hoping you can get some well-deserved rest and celebrate your achievement.
hi @Mom0 congrats! I am currently waitlisted for EEES, hoping there's still a chance for me to get off the waitlist. If you don't mind my asking, how long did you have to wait for the offer from when you were waitlisted? Also, are you planning on accepting the offer?
Hey @Ilikekitties saw that you were also waiting on Dartmouth EEES. Wondering if you've heard back from them yet? Also congratulations on your other acceptances!! This has been a unique cycle to say the least
It's definitely not "geared" towards critical theory, but JHU (did my ugrad in IR there) has some profs that work pretty heavily with poststruc and crit theory. The department is definitely not leftwing, but there are a ton of really smart people who consider a lot of different ideas in their work.
Nice, I applied to STEP! Website says they accept 3 for each cluster per cycle. I know it's only 2-4 weeks till we get decisions, but it feels like an eternity from now :[
