I would agree with this. I signed a contract with a university that now shows "Willing to Accept as GEM Fellow" to become a GEM University fellow. Does anyone know if we have to take further steps in the GEM portal to show we have accepted the offer or does signing the document suffice?

Does anyone know how the GEM fellowship works in conjunction with scholarships? Say a university accepts you for GEM and gives you a scholarship, is it one or the other, all together, is the scholarship revised or will it just depend on the university?

Hi - Does anyone know if its ok to contact GEM University representatives about extending a decision deadline? They gave me until March 1st at one school but I haven't heard back from some of my other choices. Could GEM reps help in this scenario?

Hi everyone! I have been accepted to a program with a decision deadline of March 1st. At the same time, I'm still waiting for more decisions to be made. I was invited to this university's visit day, however it falls two weeks after my decision deadline. I really believe the program is a good fit for me, but I want to make the best informed decision when it comes to selecting a program, and would've liked to have the input from visit day to help me pick. Is it a good idea to reach out to have the deadline extended? Would it even be extended that long? Could reaching out for an extension be negative in any way? If no extension is offered, what other ways should I go about to get more information on the program? Thanks in advance!
