Congratulations everyone! This is so exciting. Does anyone know if the interviews for Northwestern’s IPTD have come out yet? I wasn’t sure if PS and IPTD were together, or if there are two separate processes.

I also applied to Northwestern IPTD and CUNY, along with Florida State and Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Sending out hope for all of us!

@Noe Montez Thank you for the help! I have been looking mainly for archival theatre history programs, but so many of these forums tend to focus on Performance Studies. Thanks again!

@Noe Montez Thank you for your insight! If you are still available to give advice, is there a significant uptick in applicants to solely Performance Studies programs? I am more interested in theatre history and theory than enacting those theories in practice. I feel as if I am at a disadvantage as the field, based on what I've seen, tends to skew more towards Performance Studies these days. @DirectorsCoffee Do you name those potential advisors in your SOP? I haven't yet, but I've been speaking with potential advisors over email. I wasn't sure if I needed to do both.

Hi all, Congratulations on all of the interviews and acceptances! I am a Dramaturgy applicant, but I’ve been lurking here as there is no forum for us. Has anyone applied to and heard from UMass Amherst? It’s my top school and I haven’t heard anything about interviews yet. Getting a little anxious ?
