  1. Hello everybody! Anyone who got the scholarship for MSc (winter semester) and recieved any communication from DAAD saying they would change the dates of the Letter of Award? in my case, I was about to take a language course in Leipzig in August - September 2020 before my master, but the language course switched to virtual (just like the Dreutsch-Uni Online DUO). In this case, anyone who recieved any update? And... anybody going to TU Dresden? Forest Sciences? Best wishes to everybody! Carlos
  2. Yes, my course started on April 1st, I registered in the DUO webpage with my scholarship holder code number and then sent them an email saying I had no previous knowledge of German, then they booked for me the course A1.1. BR, Carlos
  3. Hallo, Yes, both are right, in the left part of the Portal you can see where to upload the not necessary signed Dec. of Acceptance and where to upload the signed Consent of Processing Medical Data. BR, Carlos
  4. Hallo! Someone applied to TUD?? They ask for registration to the university via SELMA Portal, they want us to download a Selma Formular and I cant find it, if someone could help me I would appreciate it too much! Carlos
  5. Congrats!!! If you got the documents, you just need to upload the Dec. of Acceptance and the Health Insurance to tell them you are accepting the scholarship, thats it
  6. Hallo, Sorry for the delay, I open this page after a while... Did you get the scholarship? I wrote DAAD to know about this Covid-19 thing and they replied to me saying that the scholarship wont be lost, in the worst scenario it would be posponed, but it is not about to happen, they will send an official communication because plenty of the scholarship holders are, of course, nervous... Let me know if you know anything else. BR, Carlos
  7. Hello friends, I hope you all are doing well! I am a little bit nervous, I recieved my Letter of Award, Health Insurance, Declaration of Acceptance and other documents on Feb. 22, they asked me to upload my Dec. of Acceptance and my Health Insurance to confirm that I accept the scholarship (MSc.) and few days later they sent me the health insurance complete documents, but they said nothing about the declaration of acceptance or anything else, anyone in the same situation or something? Thank you in advance! Carlos
  8. Congratulations!! Did you submitted your Declaration of Acceptance and the Health Insurance? Did you recieved answer after that?
  9. Hello, I applied for EPOS and the language course in Germany starts in August, but we can (for free) start with a 3 month online course before that, as stated in Ihr DAAD Stipendium.
  10. Hello Elen, some of us yes, others not yet, it depends on several factors such as region, university to which you apply, among others. I would recommend that you consult with the tutor of the university to which you apply, that helped me a lot in order to know about possible dates. Wish you the best, Carlos
  11. Hi everyone! Anybody from Latin America who has already received the scholarship documents? Have you already started your visa application? As I understood, DAAD must send us some documents before we send our confirmation in Declaration of Acceptance... In addition, my MSc programme will take place in Dresden, but my German language course will be in Leipzig, so.. where to apply in the visa form? Is any facebook group created related to those topics? Thank you in advance. Carlos
  12. Hi Adeline, Im not sure about that, try to contact the people that gave you recomendation letters, when DAAD sent me the first email asking me for registering in the Portal, they literally said: Kindly note that all of the following documents have to be submitted as attachments in addition to the (blue) application form that you can download via the portal in order to complete your application:- DAAD (green) application form for research grants and study- Personally signed motivation letter with date of issue and statement regarding other applications (if applicable)- Personally signed full curriculum vitae with date of issue- Certified translation of university degree (bachelor)- Certified translation of university transcripts (an explanation of the grading system has to be attached, too)- Recent language certificates (English)- Two letters of recommendation by university professors and/or current or former employers of current date, supplemented by signature, official letterhead, stamp Wish you the best and I strongly recomend you to go for those letters! Carlos
  13. Thank you Nasi! be positive, wish you the best
