  1. Program Applied To (MPA, MPP, IR, etc.): Columbia SIPA MPA, Cornell CIPA MPA, Harvard Kennedy MPP, NYU Wagner MPA, Princeton WWS, Yale Jackson Institute MPP Global AffairsSchools Admitted To: Columbia ($$$), Cornell ($$$), Harvard, NYU ($$), Princeton ($$$$), Yale ($$$$)Schools Rejected From: NoneStill Waiting: NoneUndergraduate Institution: small, fairly competitive liberal arts collegeUndergraduate GPA: 3.85Undergraduate Majors: Political Science/International AffairsGRE Quantitative/Verbal/AW Scores: 163/167/5.5Years Out of Undergrad (if applicable): 3Years of Work Experience: 3+Describe Relevant Work Experience: government/NGO internships, Peace CorpsStrength of SOP (be honest, describe the process, etc): Strong. It took a lot of time, but I wrote a different SOP for every single school to make sure I aligned with the type of candidate they were looking for. In each, I told a story and made my drive to continue working in public service clear.Strength of LOR's (be honest, describe the process, etc): Very strong: 2 professors/mentors from college who I did substantial work with and my Country Director who knows me incredibly well.Other: Despite taking limited quantitative courses in college, I used my quantitative resumes, SOP, and optional statements to make my quantitative abilities clear. For future applicants: it is worth taking the time in the fall to write separate essays for each school and submit them at the earliest deadline (by December for most). I think that helped me get acceptances and funding. And aim high! You are more competitive than you think you are. Good luck
  2. Thanks for the advice, everyone! I ended up committing to Jackson. Their community from current students to admin to senior fellows was more welcoming, and in the end, it felt like a better fit for me. Good luck with your decisions!
  3. Hi, everyone! I'm really fortunate to have gotten full funding and a stipend from both Yale Jackson (MA of Global Affairs) and Princeton WWS (MPA). I'm interested in international policy/management, looking to work in the public sector. I have my own impressions on the advantages and disadvantages of each program, but I am curious: what are your thoughts/what have you heard about the programs?
  4. Also accepted to the MPA program (at 10:23pm EST)! Congrats to everyone else who got in!
  5. *we're in for an eternity of constantly refreshing our email and grad cafe
  6. The last (only?) thing they said in the blog was "Official admissions decisions will arrive on or around March 15." Aka we're in for up to 3 more days of constantly refreshing our email and grad cafe......
  7. I haven’t heard anything either!
  8. I didn’t get an email today; so if no one else did... maybe tomorrow? They have sent the informal acceptances on Wednesday the past two years... (or they did send emails today, and I got a de facto rejection haha)
  9. According last year’s thread, it seems like they sent the informal decisions out on March 13th (Wednesday) around 5:30pm EST.
  10. I'm also in Congrats to everyone else who is too! And best of luck to everyone who didn't- I'm sure you will still have some great options! Did anyone get any funding information? Or do they send that later?
  11. Thank you both! Here’s to hoping the next couple of weeks go by quickly!
  12. Are Public Service Fellowships considered a CPL fellowship? Or are they one of the fellowships that doesn’t require an interview?
  13. Is the Public Service Fellowship (PSF) a part of this CPL interview process? (I also haven’t heard anything yet)
