Hello everyone ... I am elated to say that I have been admitted and received a CPL fellowship. I am still in utter shock. Congratulations to those of you who were also admitted, and to those who weren't -- I am sure you will move onto do great things in the very near future. 2019 was the toughest year of my life, and I hit absolute rock bottom. Finally... it seems like I've landed on my feet. Don't want to jinx it though! ? Hope to keep in touch. Cheers!

I just finished cooking a meal for my quarantined sister...May go on a phone-free walk here in a bit, though I can’t decide whether that would lessen my anxiety or heighten the suspense ?

Sometimes i find it IS unhelpful for me, and then I simply take a break and don’t read ? However, at other times (like today as I’m sitting on pins and needles), it is nice to know people are going through the exact same emotions.

I’m sure this was already discussed a while back (when we were preparing for the original deadline) — but if someone could refresh my memory. Do they release scholarship decisions at the same time/shortly after?

Yup -- I have gotten the sense from the blog posts that recent events have thrown their processes out of whack, and they're doing their best to adjust and make sure releasing decisions won't be a sh*tshow. They wouldn't needlessly be stringing things along. Fingers crossed for Thursday as well ?

I never received a scholarship letter/financial aid notice (even to tell me I didn't get any) in the first place... let alone that email you received today @thediesel

Yup, still in the same boat as all of you ... obviously... ?I just realized it is Sunday night and there is a chance of receiving news tomorrow -- so naturally decided to check the thread! Still here lurking around on gradcafe, happy to chat via DM about weighing options or just keep each other sane ?Don't have too much else to do as I work at a school, and all schools in my state have been cancelled for the forseeable future ?

Yes— I was pleasantly surprised. I attended a class at Georgetown and found the students outgoing and easy to chat with. Of course, this was just a snapshot of the greater program. However, I specifically remember them chatting about going on a hike/picnic together that coming weekend ? Which options are you weighing? @Bubba94
