  1. I have been hoping so ... I applied to a dual MALD/MBA program at Fletcher, where you get your International MBA at the IE School in Madrid. And ... I applied to start my first year at SAIS at its Bologna campus *shudders*
  2. Hey -- I am curious about what you had to say about the lack of community at SIPA. Is this pretty well known/did you hear it from current students? I visited Fletcher and Georgetown, both of which seemed like tight-knit student communities to me (which I enjoy). Would really appreciate any additional color you could provide about the vibes of these different programs. I have been accepted to SAIS MA, Fletcher MALD, Georgetown MSFS and SIPA MIA. Waiting on HKS. Like iskandera, I'm feeling disappointed about not being able to attend the admitted student days, meet other accepted students, chat w professors and get a sense of the different vibes of the programs, and which is the best fit.
  3. Indeed! Same thing here.
  4. I love this idea. Thank you for the input! HKS really is the one I’m holding out for...I interviewed for a CPL fellowship which is a stretch — and I’m not counting on it — but would be huge as far as funding my graduate studies goes Then 10k per semester at Fletcher, and 5k per semester at Hopkins. Zero at SIPA as far as I know ?
  5. I’m in the same boat. Accepted to Georgetown, SAIS, SIPA and Fletcher... now just waiting on HKS. I received the aforementioned language ... “in the next few weeks.... cost of attendance... possible sources of aid” ... I’m presuming this means I did not receive any scholarship assistance/shouldn’t expect any in the coming weeks? Would appreciate any thoughts on the matter. Congrats to all! ?
  6. I agree w your logic. Would have been simple to paste the generic Admitted Student post if they were ready to do so. My immediate thought this a.m. was that they are buying time.
  7. ?????
  8. So what are we thinking...probably not hearing back tomorrow? I was sure we would know by then. Had been counting down the days ?
  9. Thank you for sharing that...I agree with this person: "Virtual open houses" really aren't a substitute for having the option of an in-person visit.” I was really looking forward to meeting fellow students, getting a sense of the vibe of the program, etc. That is....if i am admitted ? but yeah, really not tryna be an online student in the Fall. I too, am freaked out by the idea.
  10. Been following this thread for a while— thought it was about time to jump in. Anyone else see that Harvard is transferring classes online on March 23 and not permitting students on campus? ... Following this, is anyone else concerned about the potential cancellation of admitted student day or having to take online classes in the Fall?
