  1. Even if WWS has a lower than usual yield rate this year, do you think it's possible they'll choose not to tap into the waitlist and instead hold onto money amid financial uncertainty? Obviously, HKS is experiencing a low yield and they're going heavy off of the waitlist, but that makes sense for them given that they depend on tuition. What will WWS do?
  2. I wouldn't read that much into it. So far, the only folks who've received emails are CPL winners. Congrats to all of you, BTW! CPL is huge!
  3. @Oba2020 and @Spunkydudette Did you hear about CPL through the financial aid portal or via email?
  4. This must be exhausting for the admissions committee. Again, my guess is COVID-19 forced HKS to disregard their initial yield models. Knowing yield rates are likely to plummet, they've likely had to review applications again to expand the waitlist and possibly even admit a few more students in each program. And they've had to do a lot of it from home.
  5. Congrats again! I'm praying they haven't sent MPP notifications.
  6. Congrats! Were you folks admitted for the MPA or MPP program? Do they send MPA and MPP emails at the same time?
  7. It's possible that their projected yield rate for admitted students who enroll has been thrown off by the pandemic. If prospective students are unsure what the next year brings for both health and markets, are they as likely to take out student loans to pay for grad school? If HKS thinks not, they may be making adjustments in the final days to ensure they still hit their desired entering class sizes. They could, for example, be expanding the waitlist.
