It would be really really helpful to receive an email even saying: your results are out, go to xxx to find your results. According to the page, the results will be only saved for 90 days. What if there’s someone who didn’t know how to “find” their results? What if they learned how to find their results after the 90 days? I hope I am not sounding bitter, but, Wow.

I did not receive any email notification and I was curious to use the forget password function on the SSHRC Extranet for Applicants page. I have never registered the SSHRC Extranet account and when I "found" my password, the result PDF was there, posted 16 hours ago with a folder that has a selection procedure and results letter in. I have done what I can and congratulations to those who are successful!

I didn't receive any email and I found a way to enter the sshrc extranet for applicants login. The PDF of the results was posted 16 hours ago and it is not a success for me. My total is 14.28/18 Applications: 68 Fellowships Offered: 15 Fellowships Not Offered: 53 Score of the last application recommended for funding: 15.56

Hello everyone, I am wishing all of you the best luck. This is my first time applying and I am newly in research without publications. Although I think my research proposal is good, but based on my impression, I am not going to score very high for the SSHRC system. I applied SSHRC doctoral scholarships and didn’t even pass the faculty level of evaluations. Based on my impression, the chances of winning this scholarship are higher for those who had succeeded in SSHRC doctoral level scholarships with many publications. I know everyone is patiently waiting for the results these days, and I have to be honest that my application this time will determine whether I stay in Canada or go back to my home country. Saying I have no expectations is just untrue, but based on my years of experiences living and studying in Canada, I am really not confident (disappointed to be honest). I am not having much luck here in my studies and I hope people in my field have better learning experiences. We all know the hot research topics are having the highest chances. And this is very much the last chance that I have here in Canada. Last year, I was determined to apply this scholarship many times, but I am not that ambitious now.
