Same!!! Which schools and streams did you apply to?
-
Anyone feeling super anxious and starting to doubt their applications? Because *sigh, same ?
-
Still waiting for a confirmation email *sigh
-
Oh okay! Do you know if there was a limit for the CV?
-
How long was your CV for UofT if you don't mind me asking?
-
Oh okay! I submitted mines beginning of Jan so they're probably just getting through everyone!
-
Yeah! When did you submit your application?
-
Hey! I noticed mines changed today! Has yours yet?
-
Hi there! Good luck What experiences and stats are you applying with?
-
Hey! Congrats with your UOttawa MPH offer! If you don't mind sharing - what were you experiences (volunteer + work) and GPA like prior to applying?
-
Hey! Is your 3.76 GPA cumulative or from your final two years? If you don't mind, what experiences will you be applying with, and what did you do your undergrad in? I have a 3.7 GPA in my final two years (at UofT - human bio) and experience in research at UHN for about a year!
-
You need at least a mid-B for most MPH programs (mid 70's and higher) in your final two years of school!
-
I believe you can only apply to one stream! I will be applying to Epidemiology! Did you graduate in 2018?
-
Hey! Which stream at UofT will you be applying to?
-
Hey! From which country do you have your degree in, if you don't mind me asking?
-
Hey everyone! Anyone thinking of applying to MPH programs in Canada for 2021? Share what schools you are interested in, your stats + experiences! And we can discuss!!!
-
Thank you for your reply! Do you know if they looked mainly at your undergrad GPA or that of your MSc (since you have an amazing 4.0)? Also, did you have any prior experience that relates to the research of Fisman and Ann Burchell, or was it simply because their research interests you? And have you ever taken an epidemiology course in undergrad (I haven't done so, was just wondering if that's a downfall)? Sorry for all the questions aha, I really appreciate your feedback!
-
Thanks for the help, appreciate it! Did you also mention specific research interests in epidemiology/profs whose research interests you? Also, do you think it's impossible to get into this program with around a 83% average in the final two years, but poor scores in first and second year?
-
Hi! Congratulations! I'm applying for 2021 to UofT Epi, just wondering if you could share your profile (GPA + experience + who you used as references), I'd appreciate it
-
Hey! Congrats on your acceptance I was wondering if you took any specific courses related to epidemiology (also, how many stats courses did you take?). Was your honours thesis and volunteer RA position related to that of epidemiology or public health? Thanks, appreciate any help!!!
-
Thanks so much for sharing, I appreciate it! Is that GPA your final year GPA or your cumulative GPA? Do you have any advice on how to craft a good letter of intent for this program and specifically this stream, and who did you use as references if you don't mind me asking? Also, do you have a linkedin profile (you don't have to share if you feel uncomfortable to do so).
-
Did you also submit GRE scores for UofT Epi even though it wasn't a requirement? Did you have any data analysis experience prior to applying? I'm assuming you have a lot of research experience having done an MSc? Lastly, do you have any advice on how to structure the letter of intent and any advice in general when I do apply for 2021? Thank you for response, appreciate it!!! Appreciate the honesty as well

Can anyone who is currently in, about to start or has completed UofT Epi please share their profile (GPA + experience) prior to applying to the program, much appreciated I am really interested in applying for the program for 2021 admission!
