I think GOFP candidates have already been chosen, I did not apply for that because I felt the essay prompt was harder if I tried to make it match fellowship standards hahaha.... Not really sure about the DCFS stipends though! Did you apply for that? I got my financial aid package which was all loans so I'm starting the hunt for some external scholarships.... :')

Congrats!! Have you tried checking your portal? I found out via portal (graduate division) two weeks before the MSW program sent anything to me. I also just got the letter lol

I also received admissions to UCLA this week! I applied for the social and economic justice concentration.

i heard back from long beach and got in two weeks ago! i applied around mid-november. i'm hearing that ucla should get back to most applicants by march 11 and some people have gotten decisions today. best of luck!!

hi!! first of all, congratulations for getting in!!! if there is no payment due, you can accept the offer and rescind later. i recently got into csulb and am waiting on ucla as well, but i went ahead and sent in an acceptance checklist so that i could hold my spot for csulb. good luck!!

hi all, is anyone still waiting for a decision from ucla? i know they let out a huge wave of decisions last night and i've been nervously checking my portal and email but have not received anything. (also to those who did not receive the decision they wanted, i know y'all will go onto do great things and i wish the very best for you all. things will fall into place bit by bit ) i'm just super nervous and wish i could get an answer (whether it be ideal or not ideal) and move on with my life! this is especially excruciating because i only applied to one school. i can't believe i've been waiting since the last week of february for a decision and now march is almost over! :')

hi! someone made a post about this in the MSW support group and a lot of people (who applied early) are in the same boat. there's still an admissions committee meeting march 16, so while it may be disheartening, we shouldn't assume the worst! sending you good vibes

for anyone waiting for ucla - i was lurking on the CA MSW FB group and saw comments that decisions can roll out for months and recently someone said that the admissions committee is meeting on march 16. the waiting game is so tough, but seeing this info made me feel a little better. hang in there y'all!!!

I'm also waiting for UCLA fingers crossed! I can't stop refreshing this site because they said they'd start rolling out decisions yesterday but I haven't heard about anything from anyone :')) We got this y'all!

for references, at least when i attended the ucla webinar, they seemed to be pretty understanding of circumstances so having one academic reference should be fine! you can always email the department and ask, they usually respond within the week good luck!

thanks so much! yea, now i'm considering whether or not i should hold off on applying. i got the stats thing figured out, but realized i need another prereq for ucla (in which i'm planning to enroll at a local cc and get it done with by Winter 2021/Spring 2021). i think i'll just apply though, to get a feel for applying and if i don't get in, apply for both ucla (again) and berkeley the next round.
