I inteviewed earlier this month and received acceptance to their online cohort yesterday afternoon. I accepted!

After being rejected from UCLA and waitlisted to CSULA, I have received and accepted admission To the 2-year CSUN Tseng College online cohort! I interviewed with them earlier this month and awaiting the admission packet and a date for the fieldwork interview. Congratulations to everyone that has gotten accepted to one or more programs! The waiting game was extremely painful but now I can plan my higher eduation journey for the next 2 years! We got this!

I was rejected for their MSW program. I just received the rejection letter through the application portal.

It's March 16, when the UCLA admissions committee is suppose to meet. I applied to CSULA (3rd choice) on Jan 15; I have been waitlisted for their program per an email by Michele Lightburn. I applied to CSUN (2nd choice) on Jan 11; I interviewed last Monday and currently still awaiting a response. I applied to UCLA (1st choice) on Dec 20 and still have not received a response. I am very nervous although I feel I have a decently strong application and LORs. I also attended all of their webinars and spoke to professors and current students. I am hoping the odds are in my favor and I at least get accepted to 1 of the 3 I applied to. Congratulations to those who have received acceptance to their schools!

The info webinars for UCLA have been helpful. I am also applying at UW! That's my top choice. They have gone over addressing why you received a lower GPA. I am applying with a 3.3 and also nervous but I will be addressing my personal reasons such as caring after my child and at times working 1-2 jobs while earning my degree. I believe as long as you briefly address and attest to your work and school ethic, you should be fine. As far as references, I also have one academic that is solid and one that I am a little worried about because I didn't build such a strong relationship with them -- kind of a filler reference. However, they did say they would go over my resume and PS to get a better understanding of what I have been up to since graduating the program. I hope something like that works out for you!

I am applying to UCLA, CSULA, and CSUN. Their personal statement prompts are all so different and I am very nervous. I don't personally know anyone in my personal life that has reached higher education such as a graduate degree so I am mostly getting through apps on my own. I am also looking to connect and find support in these forums! Good luck to you.

I am in SoCal and I am applying to five schools: UCLA, CSULA, CSUN and two in Seattle: UW and Seattle University. I am really stuck in drafting my personal statements. I have a lot to say but having trouble following the verbiage. I come from a Nutritional Science background but work in the mental health field. Good luck!
