Epi experience here but I think the interviews are usually the same
You should be very comfortable talking about (1) yourself and background (2) motivation for PhD (3) research experience (4) strengths and weakness (5) career goals (6) research interests especially the alignment with one or more of their faculty members (7) what you bring to the table (8) what you expect from the school/dept/prof aka advisor (9) ask questions - very sound questions
Did anyone apply to University of Utah?
I applied to the PhD Clinical and Translational Epidemiology under population health. I got an email today that they are done with their review and they are currently trying to match me with a faculty member who is available to take a new student and provide financial funding. They told me to expect additional details within the next few weeks.
To those who applied to UNC HB program
I sent the academic coordinator a mail and this was her reply;
"Although most interview invitations have gone out, the Admissions Committee is still working on determining the remaining interview decisions and that may take another few weeks. Admission decisions will be sent to all applicants once the final admission decisions have been made, in early March or so."
