Hi all! Is anyone here declining UVA? Also, should I expect waitlists to be solved by April 15?

Hey guys, up to now all I've gotten is rejections and I'm missing to hear back from around 6 programs. Would it be wise to just assume if this top programs rejected me that the outcome will prolly be the same? Lol Id rather grieve for a while and start taking some decisions. I'm not trying to be super negative but trying to assess. Any thoughts would help!

So if I haven't heard back from Duke and Berkeley is it safe to assume I got rejected?

Hey guys, As many in this group I got rejected from UCSD. It's my first rejection. Any advice on how not to fall in the thought loop of jumping into the dark conclusion that this is an indication of future results of other programs? Sorry if it's dark lol but anxiety now really has taken over me.

Hey guys, does anyone know if acceptances are exclusively if a DGS/faculty contacts you? Or do acceptances also get posted to portals first. Thinking of expectations when I get an email notification ?

Hey guys! I know admissions season is just beginning but does anyone have any advice on how to manage admission anxiety? Haha Like am I supposed to interpret that if someone posts they got an interview/acceptance then that = I'm rejected? Any insight people have on how this works or has seen from last year would be great. Thank you!!

I received UC Davis' email informing that they close admission at 12:00 AM and I got a little anxious wondering if Princeton/Yale/Georgetown will do the same?

Hello guys! I was wondering if any of you have advice on lower tier programs in American Politics that have a solid class core or faculty (Thinking of Emory or Rice but those are the only ones I have top of my head), I'm balancing my list of applications and because of COVID bringing so much uncertainty, I would love to include some solid end of the list/ranking choices in American Politics (leaning towards parties and institutions). Thanks!
