I can't believe this happened!! I just got off the waitlist and was given an offer by TAMU. I am really excited and very likely to accept it. Has anyone here already accepted the offer from TAMU? Do you guys have any news from the PhD of Florida International U and U of Minnesota? I tried reaching out to the PIs a couple of times but didn't get a response.

I first emailed the admissions, they told me to reach out directly to the PI. I emailed the PI three times in the past month, just got a response from him two days ago. I was told that I am not on their waitlist, so basically rejected...

There are four universities from which I haven't heard back, should I just assume rejection?

Same here! Just got an offer from Florida Tech, now waiting for the funding details if any... I haven't heard anything back from BGSU, CUNY, GMU, Rice, UMinnesota and Florida International, should I email them to check on the status of my application or should I just assume rejection ?
