Hey! I'd love to hear everyones stats as well so here are mine! Degree: Double major in Speech Sciences & Psychology GPA: ORPAS sgpa 3.91 Experience/Volunteering: Have around 130 hours as an SLPA for 2 different clinics, mainly work with school-age children. 350 hours working as a behavioural interventionist, 1000 hours as an education assistant working with special needs children, around 200 hours as a peer tutor for neurotypical & special needs kiddos, and 2 years experience as a research assistant. A little nervous about this as my experience mainly comes from the pediatric population. References: 1 teaching professor, 1 teaching + supervising professor, 1 work reference from a school-based SLP that I worked with for 8 months

Received a confirmation email about my submitted application for Western. Does anyone know if we receive an email from U of T?

I took it last summer and found it to be one of the most challenging courses in my undergrad so far! The pace of the course is super fast, so do not fall behind! The concepts are not difficult but there is a lot of info to memorize and master within a short period of time. If you consistently complete the readings and do the learning activities you will be fine

Hi, I emailed Adriana about this issue and she said that UofT does not require work experiences in the Volunteer Section. Whatever we enter for Western will be sent to them but not given weight. Hope this helps!

Hi everyone, for those applying to both UofT and Western, can you please advise on how you entered your work/volunteer experiences in the Volunteer Section on ORPAS? UofT explicitly said to ONLY include volunteer experiences while Western allows paid experiences as well. But ORPAS is streamlined (the volunteer section is the same for both schools). I’m not sure how to just include volunteer experiences for UofT but paid + volunteer experiences for Western. Please help an anxious applicant out! Thank you so much!
