Oh boy, I'm not sure how to react to this information! Bard has seemed perfect to me for a long time, but if there's this much upheaval, I'm not sure what to think. All that said, even though I'm pretty old, I could see myself applying again next year. Could be a good thing actually!

Thanks for that info. I was bracing myself for 2 new students, so 4 actually sounds encouraging. A bigger cohort size has its strengths too. More people to connect with and opportunities for great relationships. Bard seems so great, I gotta say. So competitive though! ?

These drastically reduced admission numbers are discouraging! I'm bummed about it. Especially when I feel like 2021 would be such a fascinating and lively year to begin MFA studies. So many interesting conversations! Would love to be in the mix of it all.

Oh really, what about during the interview process? Schools I applied to asked for a CV. If they look at the CV and the website is linked it, they may look at the website too -- no?

I'm a fan. Would love to see even more schools with low res programs across the states.

One route could be to go focused for the portfolio and then use a personal website to present more of the older work and then link to it in your CV or elsewhere
