Hi All...
Actually came over here to start the thread... only to discover it has already been started.  I got admitted to the LDIT for fall 2021, but couldn't make it for some personal reasons. Luckily I was granted a deferral. I'm happy to help in any way. Good luck to all the folks applying!

I don't want to be a wet blanket but really. I think we should  expect the decisions next week. Last year decisions were released on the 12th and the Admitted students event was held on the 18th. I'm not trying to discourage us but just to manage expectations-no need expecting so much today.
 

So last year Penn decision came out on the 8th and HGSE on the 12th. Just trying to say: “no need for high hopes tonight”. I think we can distract ourselves so that the coming week rolls faster until Friday approaches. Wishing you all the best and hope you get in and hope we become classmates!

I really can't believe decisions are out! congratulations to all who got in. If you are interested in joining the different groups: LDIT and HGSE general groups, let me know. A few of us from last year are already in there.

Fellowships should be out in a week’S time judging by last year’s experience 

Hi the schedule is not out yet. The calendar for now shows only the current academic year and some major holidays. judging from last year, they will sort out the calendar around May. Last year September 7 was first day of classes (if this gives you an idea). However orientation week started in the last week of August

Yes! I spoke on the phone with the person who emailed me and it was awesome and so helpful. I actually do think they're sent personally! It's a really nice touch and the offer to speak on the phone is so helpful.

I don't think the Scholarship decisions have gone out. Everyone who applies gets an email. At least for US, i'm sure. I got the rejection mail last year. It came 10 days after admissions decision. Hopefully it takes less than 10 days this time around.

Hi everyone! I was also accepted to the ELOE program and just waiting for financial aid info...it's a bit nerve-wracking to say the least ? I'm still reeling from the news but would love to connect with any folks who are currently weighing other options as well. Congrats to all who were admitted!
