  1. Officially accepted my offer for admission in UNC's Health Behavior program! Happy to connect, if anyone else has decided on UNC!!!!
  2. @PhDProgramSocialBehavior Out of curiosity - did you both get emails/do you know what date your acceptance letters were uploaded to the UNC portal? I still haven't gotten an email to check the portal despite my acceptance being posted yesterday ? Not super worried, but would be comforting to hear directly from the school lol!
  3. We popped a bottle of Costco-brand Prosecco and ordered some Domino's!!!
  4. Congratulations to you both! I didn't get any funding info yet (honestly haven't even gotten an email - just checked the portal and was surprised to find I had an update ?) . Hopefully funding info comes through soon, but am just so happy to have gotten in (and to stop worrying so much about if I will/won't get in anywhere, as that was my last app I had to hear back from).
  5. Hi all - I just heard back, and was admitted to UNC's PhD program in Health Behavior (first and only acceptance)! I'm wishing you all the best as you begin to hear back!
  6. @PhDProgramSocialBehavior Nothing from UNC HB on my end! Good luck to you!
  7. I haven't heard anything from UNC Health Behavior since the interview stage, either! Fingers crossed for you both!
  8. Big yikes. Fingers crossed for you, and that they let everyone who applied know soon!
  9. Wondering the same for UNC's Health Behavior PhD! Hopefully they release decisions soon. Best of luck to you!
  10. Same here! Just good to know, honestly. Fingers crossed for you!
  11. Agreed! Just feel lucky to have interviewed - but admission would certainly be a bonus!
  12. I also am waiting to hear back from Emory - but you never know! I know a lot of schools don't let everyone know at once as there are generally a bunch of moving pieces to the admissions process - so I'm holding out a bit of hope. Good luck!
  13. Thank you so much! Was the email from Admissions or the specific advisor you want to work with? Sorry for the questions - super nervous!!
  14. Congratulations! Out of curiosity, did it seem like it was an individual email? Hoping to get similar news soon!
  15. Harvard rejection club, assemble!!!!!! Just heard back from Harvard PHS for their PhD program in Global Health and Population (Pop and Family Health), and got my first rejection of the admissions season.
  16. Anyone heard from Harvard PhD in PHS, Global Health and Population (with a concentration in Pop and Family Health)? I've seen some posts about interviews for the Health Systems track (and other departments) being sent out, but have not seen or heard anything related to GHP-Pop and Family Health. Thanks, all!
  17. I haven't heard back from the Harvard GHP - Population and Family Health Track (hopefully soon)! Good luck!
  18. I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother. I hope you are taking care of yourself during what has to be an unbelievably difficult time. In terms of grad schools, I second what everyone else has said - there are tons of programs that are still reviewing apps (including many of the programs you applied to), and the responses you've received that haven't been favorable could be for the best. Often times it's not about qualifications, but about research fit, funding available, and the capacity for advisors to take on new students, so please don't think this means you are undeserving of getting in! I know it is difficult, but keep your head up. There are still a ton of programs out there for you, and if you don't get in this cycle, there is always next year (and hey, you'll already have most of your essays written!). As for work, staying in jobs where you aren't appreciated or where the work doesn't resonate with you is incredibly draining. Just know there are always other jobs out there, and it is never too late to pursue another job. Best of luck to you, and take care.
  19. Congrats on the interview invite! Out of curiosity - did you apply to the Health Systems or Population and Family Health track?
