Hello! So you applied to the Fall 2020 UVM.. When would you say that you received your admission? I have applied to the 2021 Fall Program and I am super anxious to hear back.

Hello Everyone, I have been searching but want to reach out if there are any universities that anyone knows of that allows you to JUST sign up to take Acoustics. I need to take it this summer for a program that starts this fall but I need it to be offered online. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Has anyone applied to the UVM (U of Vermont) graduate SLP program for Fall of 2021? ASHA website makes it seem like the program isn’t as competitive... is this true? I am curious on how long it typically takes to hear back and if anyone has heard back already! Also what are your stats? To those that are currently attending, what are the pros and cons to this program. I have taken my pre-req's here, but they were all online. I am a native Vermonter so I would like to stay here. If I do not get accepted I am not sure what else to do. Is SUNY Plattsburgh competitive? Any online programs that allow you to take some leveling courses once you receive an acceptance?

Hello! I am so anxious I have applied to UVM for the program. I am so worried to get either a "yes" or "no". Do you mind sharing a little bit about your background and your scores when applying? GRE's weren't mandatory, I have a 3.6 GPA undergad and took my pre-slp courses through UVM as well. My fingers AND toes are CROSSED!

Hello Sav SLP2Be, I have tried to contact the office but I keep getting told other admission counselors must be currently busy, set up an appointment for them to call then do not receive a call and I have done this process 3x now. Is there any way to privately send me information on your counselor that helped you and maybe I can reach out that way? Are they anticipating continuing online education? I am in Vermont so it would have to be online but I am very interested in this program if so!

Oh wow! That sounds great. I I am going to look into it. Is the interview fairly intimidating or are they just trying to get to know who you are. Right now I am an SLP-A and have five prerequisites done from another university however I am very interested in this program. What do they consider acoustics? Do you feel like your personal statement and article critique was judged harshly or do you feel like it was pretty relaxed?

How was the application process? How long did it take for you to hear back? I am also assuming you are a part-time student?
