Hey! Congrats to everyone who's had good news so far and also good luck to everyone waiting I'm sure offers are coming soon! I had a question because I'm less familiar with the process for US schools coming from Canada. Here, some Canadian Uni's give shorter deadlines for giving our answer (i.e. three weeks from letter) but some say April 15th. I noticed in the US April 15th also seems to be the popular decision day. Is the April 15th date a hard, set deadline in the States? I'm only now waiting for one US school's reply to make my decision and I was trying to gauge when is the latest I could potentially hear back. Thanks to anyone who has any insight on this and good luck to everyone

They sent an informal letter saying I would get an official letter two weeks ago I think and then last week I got the official letter on the portal! From there we have three weeks I think to make a decision and they also have a waitlist I believe. I hope this helps, good luck! If you have more questions feel free to PM

Hi, I have an interview today there and from there email it looks like they were sent out last week for interviews this week with a decision to be made by Feb 20th. But this is for the I/O stream, I can't say for certain about the Forensic Stream!! Crossing my fingers you hear back from there soon about that stream. Just some updates that I hope can help (mostly from Canada, sorry it's not relevant!!) in terms of when decisions are being given: Hofstra University (US, MA): interview this week and offers out by the end of next week Western University: offers being made this week and next week, got mine today!! Saint Mary's: interviews seem to be this week and next week, giving decisions 3rd week of Feb University of Guelph: had an interview this week and invite to open house in early March University of Windsor: email from PI for interviews next week Hope this helps if anyone's waiting on replies to make some choices! It looks like this and next week are really picking up steam so I'm crossing my fingers for everyone to get the offers they want and end up with their top schools. Good luck everyone!!

Congratulations to @SCIOPsych, @potentialOB and @psycholokrion their acceptances I'm super happy I just received my first acceptance from the University of Waterloo in Canada! I'm just super relieved to be going to grad school and it's one of my top choices too! If there was any other Canadian applicants, I think they're sending out acceptance letters this week but they said they've gone through all applications. If anyone's heard from Saint Mary's or Windsor, could you PM me or let me know if you're comfortable? Wishing everyone the best of luck and hopefully you hear back very, very soon! Hey everyone! I hope your application cycles are going well and congratulations to those who already have acceptances, well done! I'm not sure if this is the right place to post because I see mostly American school applicants but I was wondering if there was anyone who applied to some of the Canadian schools and would be willing to share if they have heard back? I've heard from a couple and have some interviews lined up, but I'm wondering if that means the interview dates for the other places has already passed (i.e. Waterloo, Saint Mary's). Also, does anyone know generally what your chances are like if you are invited to an interview or an interview day? Are we generally talking like 1 in 10 or like 1 in 3? I'm super excited to have gotten some interviews but with nothing concrete, I'm still super nervous about nothing panning out. Thanks!
