Aaand accepted! I believe i missed the new student orientation since i was accepted so late. Is there a place this year's cohort is gathering online to share tips? Should I make a fb group or Slack or something or does one already exist?

Finally received an interview invitation by email on June 24th. Had been assuming the opportunity had passed but here we are - just in case anyone else is still wondering! I had sent my application in on the very last day so I expect I'm the last round they're getting to.

Thanks! Yeah, I turned down Smith which had originally been my top choice because they didn't give any aid. Since then I've decided that I'd prefer to go to a state/city program anyway since I'll be more likely to have diversity of class and race in my cohort which is important to me. That and the price of course. So if I don't get into Hunter this year I'll try again next year and also to some other SUNY/CUNYs. Does anyone know how UAlbany's MSW program is? I missed the deadline this year but I'm looking at that one as a backup for next year.

Yup, same here. I did get the accidental interview offer but no real one. I sent in my application on the last possible day so I'm not surprised they're getting to me late. If I have to apply again next year I'll do it earlier!

What are you two thinking re: Smith? It was my top choice but it's a lot of money. Having a hard time wrapping my head around what it would mean for me to take on that much debt.

I also got into Smith. No financial aid though so I'm going to have to do some thinking. Happy to chat here or via PM (which I'm assuming is a thing? Made an account to post this haha).
