Trytryagain got a reaction from mjsmith in HGSE 2021
I also wasn't able to log in to the admitted students website. That's really interesting that you were able to get in @emstaal! I tried to input my portal log in info and that didn't work. It seems like you need a HUID or some initial pin to set up an account because it's on "Harvard Key," which seems a little different than our application website. ??

Ugh.. I was really hoping that the results were going to come out today.. I was anxious all day and now we're totally in the dark about when they're going to be released. I've been sooo unproductive this week because this decision has been on my mind and now it could be another week or two until we get results. I really hope they send out decisions soon.

If we have to wait another week I may explode. Fingers crossed that "sooner" means TODAY!

Just called and they answered. Got the same generic reply - “I can’t tell you an exact date but we’re doing all that we can to speed up the process and you’ll be notified by the end of this month. But it’s possible that you’ll hear back sooner.”

Just logged in to check and see if anything is posted there. Don't see a decision letter....guessing later this weekend some time then.
Passing along the info for all here.

Guys, we've all done the best we can. They did say they would release by mid March, so there's still a few days left. Why stress out? Enjoy your weekend. We'll know soon enough. Also, no respectable school would release on a Thursday. Now excuse me while I go refresh the portal.

it is! i got rejected from stanford too. they have a lot of students who took a gap last year...whereas HGSE didn't allow students to gap during Covid. I heard the program I applied to only accepted less than 10 students... especially because their cohorts are around twenty something. so don't worry! keep your head up high. I think HGSE won't be as selective as stanford

Wow congrats! That is so great that you got into NYU, hopefully a good omen for HGSE as well. I feel like the days are getting longer as March approaches hahaha.. At least February is a short month!

Wow I can't believe I just found this site. I also applied to hgse this year for the first time. It seems like all of you guys are such great candidates and I hope we get accepted! I applied for the LDIT program, but not really expecting to get in because because I'm only 24(two years work experience) and I saw on Peterson's that the average age is 28.. but it's worth a shot!
I was wondering if anyone knew anything on the status of in person classes next fall. I assume that they are hoping classes will be in person, but I haven't seen any official statements on it yet.
