Did anyone get waitlisted to Columbia Epi? Does your letter specifically say waitlisted for the PhD? Only asking because I clicked the box on the application that said I would be interested in the MS if I was not accepted to the PhD. Im not sure if I got waitlisted for the PhD or the MS ?.

Yep, same for me. I do not know why they wait so long to let us know!

I asked in my interview. They said they work to help all of their students but information about specific packages or RA positions will be available late April or early May. They also sent me a follow up email after my acceptance to see if I had any questions about anything.

I also got accepted! Im considering accepting but they said funding offers may not be available until the summer. That makes me worried.

Is this your first application cycle? Or do you have plans for your next application cycle?nThis is my first cycle. I did get into some lower ranked PhDs and some high ranked Masters so Im trying to decide what to do. I think my application will be better with some course work, research, and a better GRE.

That was me, we will see . I live in the New Haven area so let me know if you have any questions about housing! Some of the landlords are terrible. I would highly recommend staying away from anything owned by Mandy Management.

The director of epi just emailed. I think they released decisions for epi this afternoon. I saw on the results pages that someone got in!

How likely are we to get off of the waitlist at Boston?

Hello Everyone! I interviewed with Boston and Georgia State for Epi recently! I have not heard back from Columbia, NYU, UNC, Cal, Tulane, Maryland, LSU, and UIC for Epi, and CUNY (CHHP). I saw that people have interviewed or been accepted to some of these programs soooo I'm expecting rejections. I wish they would just send them already. ??
