    You could try: mbr0005@hunter.cuny.edu for Meggin Brown... I hope you can get an answer early next week! I got an email, BTW, stating that there was a decision in my application. Never interviewed.. Seems like there are lots of variations down this road, and it can take a long time. Hang in there, and keep us posted!

    Yes, I would email them directly, perhaps admissions but also Meggin P. Brown or another rep there. I JUST heard back yesterday that I was accepted! I had been on "submitted" since 2/2. I'd already submitted my downpayment for another program, as they'd given me over a month extension at that point and I didn't want to miss out on field work opportunities. But as others had said, I'll be saving so much by going to Silberman that it will all have been worth it. Hang in there!

    That's what I thought, so I'm going forward with the other program until I hear otherwise. Thanks for the support! Tough wait. But it will all be worth it if I can get accepted...

    I'm still waiting, still on "submitted." Have no idea what to make of that! I had to pay my downpayment to another school, and start the enrollment process, or I wouldn't have been able to get an earlier access to good field work opportunities. So... the waiting continues. Entering week 11. Hope everyone's well, and congrats to those who've been accepted!

    That makes total sense. What about Lehman and SUNY Stony Brook? I know their social work program is located in Manhattan.

    I applied 2/2, too, so I'm sure I'm on the bottom of the pile! I have already put off two other acceptances, one for another two weeks, another for a month, and they're both coming due in a few days. So... I'll ask to again delay the deadlines for commitment, or... pay the commitment fee for one. Still really hoping for Silberman! Amazing program, amazing cost. Hang in there!

    Well, another week has gone by, and I've had no information beyond "submitted" since my app changed to "completed" on Feb 10. About once per week, I send a tenderly-worded chat to admissions, and now their last response was verging on ornery, saying they're working as fast as they can to get through all of the applications and they were still trying to "expedite" my application. I've already pushed my Fordham acceptance back a whole month, and another school back two more weeks, but those deadlines are swiftly approaching. Anyone else still waiting, too? I'm applying to the Community Organizing, Planning & Development concentration, so maybe they're behind. Or maybe they're waiting until the end to reject me! I'm going a little nuts, if you couldn't already tell. Thanks for reading...

    Anyone else STILL in the cycle of "submitted," as I am? No changes, no interview, app in on 2/2 and completed 4/10. Chats say they will try to expedite, since I have Fordham and another school wanting an answer soon. I thought by today, but... nope. Fingers crossed for next week!

    Personally, I think you should email them now. It's been almost a week, seems more than reasonable and someone else here was given a test date once they emailed them. Just my two cents!

    I'm local so I don't know about housing, but you can apply for FAFSA any time at all. You can list Hunter so they get the info when/if they need it! I'm sure it will be "when" not "if." Congrats on the interview!

    Me, too! Submitted fully early Feb, completed on their end 2/10, and I've been on "submitted" with no movement since then. In response to chats, they say interview and/or response should be coming "soon." Tough wait...
