  1. Me, too, exactly.
  2. Me, too. I submitted on 2/2 (they'd extended the deadline), completed 2/10 (after chatting with admissions), still submitted. My last chat, on Thurs or Fri, they said it takes approx. 6 weeks, so for me, that would be tomorrow. I think there's a very good chance many of us will hear this week. Fingers crossed...
  3. Some applicants don't interview at all, some do. Keep us posted, good luck!!!!!
  4. Yes, very much, thanks Lulu!
  5. I just tried to contact them on chat and they're offline, only accepting messages. The last two times I left messages I got no response, so I'll wait until chat opens up again and see where my application is! Would just like to know what to tell the other accepted school in terms of an extension. Sigh.
  6. I'm still at "submitted," but my application was in 2/2... They had extended the deadline, so I took an extra day to submit. But now I have to pay for it on the back end by waiting longer to hear.
  7. I think a lot of us, and someone said on a much earlier message that it can sometimes say "submitted" until the very end, either interview or acceptance/denial. My application was "completed" on 2/10, but has only said "submitted" ever since. I've been in touch with the chat folks and they said they're trying to expedite my application due to another acceptance needing a response soon, but still... nothing but "submitted."
  8. Awesome, keep us posted!
  9. So strange - I waited for hours for a response... nothing. I'm sure they're swamped. I'll try again tomorrow, thanks, helps to know!
  10. Also, I sent a chat through admissions a few hours ago, and didn't hear back. Is that typical? It's fine, I just want to see what others have experienced!
  11. Do we have anyone here applying for the Community Organization, Planning & Development program? I'm waiting to get past "submission" and I have 10 days until I have to respond to Fordham's acceptance. Fingers crossed, as Hunter/Silberman is by far my 1st choice!
  12. Hello! Congrats to those who've been accepted. Send us good vibes! My application still says, "Application Submitted." Is there a "review" or other stage it would show, before interview or acceptance? Just wondering... Thanks!
  13. I applied on 2/1, and heard on 2/10 - Fast turn-around, I was really surprised. Now the waiting seems longer for others...
  14. Hey, all - First time posting on this thread! I applied to only three grad SW programs, because I want a well-rounded SW education, but I ultimately want to focus on community organizing, planning, development. I applied to Fordham, Hunter/Silberman, and Stony Brook Manhattan extension. Got accepted at Fordham, but as has been posted above, the debt load would be high, not ideal. If I don't get Hunter (1st choice), how is the Stony Brook program? Anyone have insight there? Thanks, good luck, everyone!
  15. That's really helpful, thank you! Yes, I can imagine you'd want to take a few deep breaths before diving back in. Appreciate the info!
  16. Congrats! Sounds like it was a success! Question: How did they give you the reading/writing assignment, was that after the interview was completed, with a 90 minute window? Thanks, just want to be ready!
  17. Also, two things: Thanks for starting this thread! So helpful. Just like a pre-social worker! Are there COP&D applicants here? That's my dream I was accepted at Fordham for their community organizing program, but Hunter's my #1... nothing yet. Applied 2/1/
  18. I emailed them, too, and they said that they have to check each of the uploaded unofficial transcripts as sometimes people upload wrong documents or blank pages, so it will take time. Yet... an hour after I emailed they confirmed the unofficial transcripts. Can't wait to hear how the interviews went today! Any hints/specifics? Good luck, everyone!
