  1. you may accept the DPE offer now and override with the counselling psychology offer if you are admitted. That's what they told me!
  2. I received rejection for OISE MEd Global Mental Health and Counselling Psychology today! I was really suprised they worked on Easter Monday loll
  3. No, I had the same question as you. I emailed the department and they said I would receive decision for each of my choice. You may accept the DPE offer and if you get accepted into other program, you can override the new offer with the DPE.. thats what they told me!
  4. I just got a rejection email from UBC and also anticipate a rejection from SFU since I did not receive their interview invitation. My last hope will be on Uvic and Trinity Western. I'm waitlisted in Trinity Western with condition to complete a few other courses (personality and a specific Abnormal Psyc). If I get into Uvic, then I won't take the courses for Trinity. If not, I guess it is still useful to complete them for future application. Applied 5/5 | Interviews 1/5 | Rejected 2/5 | Assumed Rejected 1/5 | Waitlisted 1/5 | Accepted 0/5
  5. I remember when I attended their info session, they mentioned about a mock counselling session.
  6. I saw someone posted on the results that they have received a interview invitation from SFU. I checked my mailbox today and did not get it. I assumed I may be rejected then since its already friday..
  7. I have applied for Uvic this year and just got a email today asking me for my course syllabus for equivalency check. They informed me that they would be giving out offers in late March and early April. For those who also applied for uvic, you will be expecting to hear back from them in a couple of weeks!!
  8. yes I am!! thanks for that information! I'm interested in either practicing in Canada or internationally so that was why I applied for both counselling psychotherapy and global mental psychotherapy.. I thought I would have greater chance in getting into the global mental health and counselling but unfortunately not.. I emailed them ask for feedback and I'll see what they say
  9. SFU closed their application late this year, I believed the deadline was January 31.. so probably won't hear back from them until late March. I also know SFU offer so limited spots like around 15 students for MA and MEd in total (what I recalled from their info session). I heard from a friend who got accepted into this program saying that SFU is less likely to accepte first time applicant bc they want to see whether you are committed and encourage you to try again next year lol. I don't give much hope to SFU and hopefully UBC as it offers more spots. I'm with you too and so anxious. Already heard back from UoT, Alberta and Trinity Western and hope either Uvic, SFU or UBC can give me some good news! UoT: offer my third choice - Developmental Psychology and Education|Trinity Western University: waitlisted with conditions |UoA: rejected
  10. I'm really interested in the counselling psychology program at OISE but I was informed on Feb 26 that I was invited to developmental psychology and education which was my third choice. I had MEd Global mental health and counselling psychology as my second choice and I was not considered for that one either and this program is still open for application!! I'm not sure if I can email them ask for feedback or reasons why I was not considered in the counselling psychology program??? My guess is just lack of counselling experience. I have only one year of expereince directly related to counselling/advising, two years of helping experience assisting with university students, just started a behavioral intervionist posiition in Nov last year. I also heard that many people got accepted into the developmental psychology program this year. it sounds that this program is easy to enter for some reasons. Little disappointed that I did not get in. It is still a good news for those who have not heard back because that means your applications are still considering!!!
