  1. Congrats to all that got in! So excited for each and every one of you. For those that didn't get the answer they hoped for, don't give up. Quite a few of my classmates here applied 2 or even 3 times to get into HGSE. I think this is such a great idea! I know @Here2Teach posted the GC applicant admission data from 2013-2022 that @graciasadios and @mjsmith compiled. Hoping that one of them will update the data from this years applicants that share their stats in here.
  2. Pulling for each and every one of you! HGSE has been such an amazing, inspiring and incredible experience, for me. Happy to talk to anyone about HGSE, just send me a DM.
  3. I'm already in, @eduforall. I'm in the LDIT Ed.M. program.
  4. I am late seeing this, but I am also happy to look at it if you like, @Here2Teach. I am happy to do the same for other people. I want to pay it forward for all the help I got last year.
  5. Agree with @AnnieRUok. The virtual sessions were really helpful! Shameless plug, HGSE is SO SO SO worth the effort! You work hard, but so many opportunities!
  6. Congratulations on starting the journey! I'm excited for you and everyone else starting out on this adventure, @Here2Teach! Please reach out to me if I can help out as you apply to HGSE. So many helped me out, and I want to do the same for others!
  7. Congrats to all that got fellowships. Sad I didn't get one, but not surprised. I mostly got loans, but some work study as well. Anyone else in the same place as me?
  8. It has been such a high since getting the good news! I also wanted to try and help pay it forward to future folks that apply and post my information here. I saw the post from @TabTurbo that had a page with a lot of information from accepted applicants that @graciasadios and @mjsmith put together. Maybe they can add all of our information there if other people feel ok posting their information here: Concentration/Program: LDITGRE: 158 Verbal, 156 Quant, 4.0 AWWork experience: 3 years full-time work while doing my BS degree (teller at a bank)Undergrad: BS in PsychologyUndergrad GPA: 3.5Research: One small project in undergrad. Presented it at an undergrad research forum for school.LORs: 2 from former professors, 1 from my boss Other info: Can't think of anything really interesting or helpful for here
  9. I'm in! Can't believe it!
  10. Thank you for this update! Was hoping it would be today, but guess we just have to wait a little longer.
  11. Really hoping that the news comes up this Friday. The wait and nerves are real for me!
  12. Thank you for info! Can I message you with a few specific questions?
  13. Since HGSE asked for the financial information so early, does anyone know if we will get our financial aid package when we get an admissions decision?
  14. Thank you @caxiatec! Just sent you a message.
  15. Hi caxiatec! Congratulations on the acceptance (and deferral)? I'm planning to apply to LDIT too, and it is nice to find someone else here with a similar interest. Can I message you with some specific question I have?
  16. Thank you for sharing this, @TabTurbo! I was so sad I missed it, and all your info here is very helpful!
  17. Happy to! Hope you were able to hop on the session today. I got called into work and sadly missed it ☹️
  18. Hey everyone! The session that was supposed to be yesterday got moved to next week. Same day and time, just a week later. I think you can still sign up for it if you want.
  19. Thank you for posting and sharing this, @TabTurbo!
  20. Thanks you for this information! I will definitely look at the program at Stanford. Very interesting they aren't even accepting the GRE at all, maybe that will become a long-term change there.
  21. Thanks for getting this started, @TabTurbo! I'm really excited to apply this time around! I posted a couple of questions I have on the HGSE 2021 thread, but I'll add them here too if anyone has any thoughts. I'm planning to apply to different Learning/Instructional technology programs this next year, and wanted to ask folks some questions here if that is okay. 1. How can I make myself stand out best when applying to the LDIT program here at HGSE? If anyone that was accepted to the LDIT program is willing to chat with me, that would be amazing! 2. So far I'm planning to apply to Harvard and Teacher's College. Any other places you all think would be good places to consider? I'm willing to move anywhere in the US. Good luck everyone!
