    Hi everyone!! I just wanted to hop on here and ask if anyone is interested in being roommates if you're attending Western for September 2022?     In that case, I think they might still be going through applications! That would explain why the majority of the emails are coming out later than usual this year too. Good luck!

    When did you get your acknowledgement email? I heard there were a lot of applications for SLP this year so maybe there were a lot for audiology as well since they waived the GRE!

    Hi, I do have the same numbers as you so I don't think theres anything to worry about!! But, anyone also feel free to confirm if the steps for the check-in are completed with 80% and 50%. Good luck!

    Hi! Don't worry. I asked the same question to Janet and she said they accept late references. As long as you get it in ASAP, you should be fine!

    Same here! My reference hasn't submitted yet. When do you think its appropriate to send a follow-up email? I don't want to rush her but I'm getting pretty anxious.

    Hi! I heard something similar in the info session I attended 2 months ago! Thanks for sharing. When he means you can upload "as many references as you want", that is using all three available reference spots under the "Referees" section? Or would it be uploading additional documents with SAM? I haven't uploaded anything through SAM before so I'm unsure! Thanks in advance for any help!!!

    Hi, thanks for bringing this point up! I also was able to attend Western's program preview day. The cadaver course was definitely surprising but I'm glad a lot of students were able to adjust to it. For those that were admitted last year, they did mention that they didn't get a chance to participate in the actual lab because in-person classes were cancelled so it was through video. I'm assuming class of 2022 would be in-person so it's definitely something to keep in mind. I also really enjoyed the first year and second year students being apart of the Q&A. It was nice to see that they were able to get involved in other things like student council or other extra-curricular activities despite having such a packed schedule!

    Hi everyone, For the UofA application, I noticed that the last CASPER test date available is January 27, 2022. Are we able to take the test on this date or would it be too late? It takes 2-3 weeks for the results to be distributed to the school so it'll be past the February 1, 2022 deadline for UofA. Does anyone know if that would be a problem? Thanks in advance for any help!!

    Hi! I didn't know some schools allow you to add more than one professional reference letter. It doesn't seem like there is an option when I looked through the application portal. Which schools allow this and how? Thanks!!! Wishing you the best while we all go through this year's cycle together! ?
