Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive an acceptance/rejection following an interview? I know this likely varies based on the school in question, but I was curious if there was a general timeline. 

I just got an email back from BGS today, and they said that NGG is sending out on a rolling basis, so they expect us to hear by the end of the month at the latest. I am also going crazy with anticipation!

Last I heard from the admissions committee, they were still reviewing applications for UPenn. 

For those wondering, UPenn is still reviewing NGG applications.

Got an invite to a UC school today. Surprised they sent on a Saturday, was not expecting that. Super excited, one of my top choices. Good luck everyone! 

Just want to say for anyone losing hope, hang in there! I struck out last year without a single interview and just received my first ever. You CAN do it! Stay strong! 

Don't lose hope, though I know it's discouraging. Your resilience is admirable and I am sure that the programs you applied to will see that! There's still lots of time. Best of luck to you!

I saw that someone received an interview invite from UPenn yesterday on the other forum. Has anyone else heard anything from them? 

I'm surprised too! I think it will heat up as time goes on (as I'm over here checking every hour on the hour since)

I think that a few people have received interview invites from Dartmouth and Brandeis according to this additional thread, but not many: https://www.thegradcafe.com/survey/index.php?q=neuroscience
I haven't heard anything about the other schools though. It seems that a lot of programs have yet to send out invites. Good luck!
